I liked that for the most part things weren’t drawn out too long. I knew things wouldn’t be perfect the entire time and I appreciated the time that they spent apart. It was amazing and I loved them together. I couldn’t put the book down, I need to know if the chemistry that was so obvious between them via text was going to be as palpable in person. How Lexi and Jax meet is great and the anticipation that led up to them actually meeting in the flesh was awesome. I liked that she was so strong and independent. There was something about her that rubbed me the wrong way, but I did appreciate all that she had set up for herself. Lexi was a little more difficult to like. He had a chip on his shoulder and rightfully so after what his recent ex did to him. I felt bad for him and how women seemed to take advantage of him. It was fun from beginning to end and the characters were so real and easy to connect to. If you are looking for some romantic, sweet and tender story - you've got it! If you're fond of more sexy and hot romance - YOU'VE FOUND IT! If you're interested in s story with interesting plot and characters - THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. I was never confused and listening to her narration was smooth and pleasurable. Piper Goodeve did a great job performing all the characters with different voices and intonations. The main characters - of course, but also Wes and Rubi.

I hope that the Audible will soon share the other books from this series (I'm not sure if they are already written). The original idea made it more unique and I was captivated till the very end. The idea of the casual hook up is not unusual it the romance books, but I have to admit that in this book it was a bit twisted and added a new shade to this kind of experiences. They are truly human beings like everybody else - with their strong and weak sides. I admire their struggles and ways to reach their own goals. I like the fact that the book is not concentrated only on the two main characters and their relationship. The plot was interesting and the characters complex but not complicated. I loved the whole story from the very beginning. For safety's sake, listen along with pitcher of ice-water. Warning: This audiobook contains uber-hot sexual encounters.
